is it Dharavi you see, or is it some smaller sub-slum? I recently viewed a documentary on the dwellers of Dharavi and I marvel that you may chance upon any one of them, however briefly and with no incident or cause for recognition
p.s. don't hesitate to slip away if it is necessary to know the city and its residents, though doing so may be perilous. still, I personally advise that you befriend a native, and slum it for a few days
