My dad just let me know that the Shedd Aquarium is free this week! =D I'm assuming that's free general admission, but it's still nice. Anyone wanna go? I've been there many times before, but it's always fun. -

Went to Chicago with my peeps this past Friday. It was a blast. We went to the Museum of Science and Industry. The best part was the Harry Potter exhibit. Way cool. Growing up & out?

Summer Days & Dreaming the Dream
Summer vacation has a month since started and still I have much I wish to do. However life needs to be a balance of fun and work. More emphasis on the fun if possible. And why not make work fun? ;) Gotta stay optimistic.

Laurell K. Hamilton, I am impressed.
I have been thoroughly impressed by Laurell K. Hamilton's series of Anita Blake that I cannot help but to gush. I just finished reading the 5(?) book in the series, entitled The Killing Dance. It completely rocked my socks off and shocked me a the same time. I guess that's the point of a horror novel. But damn. All I could think of afterwords was ' ( Read more... ) -
I'm back!
For those of you who I have not yet seen or heard from, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive and back home once more. I returned to the U.S. on May 5th and arrived back in Munster around 8pm the following day.
It is so nice to be home!

Christmas was lovely this year. I got to eat good food, go ice sledding (because there's little snow - just inches of ice), gave and received gifts (which I will emasculate on later), and hung out with family - some of who I haven't seen in a long while. It was nice ( Read more... ) -
The Eve of Holidays
I can't believe it's almost Christmas. A few hours from now and I'll be opening presents & dining with my family. =) Yum yum. Right now I'm just lazing around, waiting for the vegetable lasagna to finish cooking. It's early, but I'm already tired.
