Whiplash of the singing variety

Just set a new personal record for quartet turnover time. My previous quartet disbanded Sunday. Got asked into another one today yipes! Their tenor quit last night. They are great people and we sound good together so I think I am going to go for it.

At regional contest, I decided to give tenor & quarteting a try. 2 weeks later, I come down w/ a nasty cold & uncontrolable coughing. I was voiceless for 2 more weeks after the cold ended. However, voice never fully came back & remained raspy. I'm currently half way through 3 weeks of voice rest for a polyp on each vocal cord. This made summer camp this past weekend both interesting & frustrating.
