1. bought myself a stone! I fell in love with it and I am going to make myself a fabulous cocktail ring out of it. You will fall in love with this stone too. Doesn't it look like the inside of a monsters mouth with big sharp teeth? Maybe I'm crazy.

that cut is called a concave millennium cut. it has become quite popular, especially in thailand and india where most stones traded in the US are cut. i hope you didn't spend more than $2/ct though. smoky is uber cheap.

possibly, but it's made by human hands in america. the price of living is a bit steep compared to asia. sometimes it's just nice to support someone who has a good thing going.
