I totally got all teary eyed when Hurley had to tell Claire Charlie didn't make it. :(

I really think they've set it up so that some people will end up choosing to stay on the island- like Bernard and Rose. OR the Oceanic Six in some way get off the island while consciously leaving the others behind. That would explain why Jack was nervous that Hurley would go nuts and talk about what went down on the island. Do you really think they're gonna bring Michael back?

I agree. I just think that 6 is a remarkably small number, considering there are still 40-something castaways on the island. There's definitely something fishy about how the Oceanic 6 got off, and what exactly they're keeping secret. And I'm positive that Michael will be back -- he was even listed in the main cast at the beginning of the episode, plus he's listed as a cast member for this season on imdb.
