I just sent my little girl off in the porsche with Sylvester and she looked absolutely stunning. I know she's not 'my' little girl, but she's always gonna be my baby sister

I never had a school formal or ball or anything (my penance for dropping out early). And also we were rather low income while I was growing up - something my own little sister didn't have to suffer! I often wish I had the teenage years she has.
I'll bet Georgie looks just superb, and I hope she has a great night!
I never went to my formal either. Couldn't find a date from Ipswich Girls Grammar School, especially not after my mother started teaching there in grade nine, and would 'entertain' her classes with stories of my childhood. For the record yes I still have 'Big Bunny'...large stuffed bugs bunny proprotioned rabit plushie given to me when I was barely 2 by my brothers Godmother when she looked after me in my very early years....but that merely earned me the tags of 'pathetically cute' and 'adroable'...as apposed to 'datable'.....Still whilst I saved some 1-2.5K on formal costs, (suit hire, tickets, car hire, flowers, dance lessons)...I made damn sure I was at the post with all my friends, having blown some $250 on drinks. Good night. Wound up a chair for some blonde who'd had waaaay to much to drink...One of the times the entire female side of the party figured I had to be gay, as I wasn't falling down drunk, or trying anything. Still Good. Last day of school was the best feeling though...
Don't get me wrong - I'm not feeling sorry for myself and money was only one of many family issues at the time (as per most families). I just think its part of what makes me more determined. I know I can't stop her getting her heart broken or failing an exam or whatever and thats ok. But I can make sure she has the chance to experience all the good things as much as possible.
