It would be incredible if you could get into summer research at any of those places. I was planning on applying to Michigan's grad program, but in the end decided not to because they offer absolutely no financial assistance to students. Most of them offer something, if only in the form of assistantships. Washington University in St. Louis and Tulane both offer complete tuition free, plus stipend of around 17k per year. Penn State is one of the schools I'm applying to. Also Ohio State, Duke, Indiana University Bloomington, SUNY Binghamton, George Washington University in DC and Arizona State. And on a whim, Univeristy College London (that is a long shot, possibly even longer than all the others). A few are Masters programs, but most of them are straight PhD. I'd rather just go for the PhD programs, you know ( ... )

you'll get into grad school! did you get the 3rd recommendation?

is Sacramento the "scene of The Crime"?

you know, i read some study that tried to say that PMS symptoms are actually 'learned behavior' and not real symptoms. bull poop.

i got three of them, but one professor did not say he would do it for sure, but i am going to talk to him next week. and yes, sacramento is indeed the "Scene of The Crime".

and i got my draft for my personal statement done last night finally, which was preying on my mind. now i h=just have to alter it a bit for each school I'm applying to.
