"God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater" is quite possibly the best vonnegut novel that nobody's read. I think i told you this, but i even forget me sometimes.

Have you been watching the Jane Austen Novel series that they've been showing on Masterpiece Theater on PBS?? Last week it was "Pursuasion" and this week it was "Northanger Abbey".

I don't get any channels here. We never got cable and we don't even pick up PBS. I was disappointed because they began to run right after I left Salinas, so I never got to see them. You know, I was surprised because I have never seen most of them. I've of course seen those versions of P&P and Emma, but I don't think I've seen any of the others. I was particularly interested in seeing the version of Persuasion they are showing. The only version I have seen of Persuasion was a BBC one made in the 70s that has truely the ugliest people I've ever seen in it. Call me superficial, but I just can't get into a love story about people I find so personally distasteful. I was planning on seeing if those versions are available on Netflix (I think some of them are, but not all of them).
