Don't go the easy cheesy route. Have him end up with no one, but realizes that he doesn't need someone else to define him. Kind of a bittersweet ending with him alone and sad but smarter and better off for it.

And its more accurate.

Kevin, that is even more cheesy route, you know why? because that was the ending i was most likely going to use...and my instincts are horrible...at Best ;)
