I burned by finger making cornbread, and it wasn't even good cornbread. :(

It seems that when you take an iron skillet out of a 375 degree oven that it's hot. I carefully used mitts to take it out, but then I put them down and grabbed the handle to hold it while I cut the bread. I'm dumb.

My car is broken again. It stalled on the way to school. I just replaced the timing belt, battery, oil, flushed all the fluids, cleaned the air filters, etc. The mechanic thinks the guy who fixed the timing belt did it wrong, which is responsible for it not starting. I'm still waiting on the diagnosis.

It was such a nice day today. At work I cut up squid all day. The important thing about cutting up squid is wearing protection. This means gloves and a waterproof apron, otherwise you smell like squid all day. Unfortunately I wore sandals and accidentally spilled squid water all over my feet. Eww ( Read more... )
