I woke up to the perfect hum of the engines - no alarms, no flashing lights, nothing to fret about. Unstrapped myself from the bunk tethers and as I free-floated, completely failed to hit my head on the overhang. Made my way to the galley, got there early enough to get breakfast that tasted of actual food. Coffee almost tasted not-like dishwater. The straw did not go up my nostril, nor did anything leak resulting in the embarrassment of a hold flush to stop liquid getting into electronics.
Duties of the day were light - no emergency sewerage back ups for once, nothing blocked anywhere, no short circuits from condensations and not a single passenger messed up a grav-free pee.
Lunch had an actual recognisable vegetable - cabbage, I think. Afternoon muscle training to keep the body fit in grav-free was painless and nothing got broken. The medical officer found I've put on a whole 300g of muscle, which means I'm almost fit enough for planet fall if I can just get some extra bone density.
Got a smile from First Officer Tate and a quick cuddle from Deck Officer First Class Alexanders. Went to be bed bruise, bump and injury free, with Arthur and the Metalloids' "Gravity Well" playing as I drifted off to sleep.
