I noticed that, also that something that is universally being described as a rush-job through parliament has had lots of public opinion, and look, there were lots of changes made and people got to give their opinion and please believe this was well thought out, reasoned and carefully considered and we all read it honest.

But then again, Ellis always looked lovely sitting front and centre behind Rudd.

(I may be somewhat biased about my local member based on a) opinions of her as a student politician and b) personal experience of her understanding of 'supporting the electorate' which involves a lot of bbqs, cameras and avoiding answering questions.)

She was still better than the Liberal candidate she replaced. Then again, it was difficult to work out how she could have been worse.
