Yeah I suck, I should have posted this sooner....

So, we are hosting 2 girls from Ukraine as part of the Children of Chernobyl program. The girls arrive next Thursday, June 17th.

Well drat, they are coming during the World Cup hiatus. DCU doesn't have another home game until mid-July. There is a charity match against El Salvador on the 26th that might be fun but it will be PACKED. Vlad, one of our Russians, said that he'd show them around and translate if they come.

Yeah the schedule for the girls seems to be either stuff that just happened or will happen after they leave.

I might. Depends on how much tickets are. They aren't included in the season ticket package and it's for charity so they might be kinda pricey. The Washington Freedom might be playing. Those are fun games but they are up in Germantown.

ok - well let us know (no rush). If Vlad would be there, it would be nice for the girls to be a real speaker of Russian.

I have at least one enormous bag of clothing, but I suspect that it might be too small for them. OTOH, if they are following K's pattern, the clothes might fit after all.

I'm culling our huge collection of stuff so it will fit into the storage containers designed to hold the stuff. The goal is to get it down to a reasonable number of items to store for K until she grows into the clothes. I've mostly moved through the stuff I'm storing for E, who's in the next size up because of her height.

There's a lot of stuff that's much smaller than the 7-8 clothing I'm clearing out. Might be easiest to get the clothes if you can come here with the girls, so I'm not giving you stuff that's already too small for them.

Clear as mud?

And the girls we are hosting might enjoy getting to met some new girls.
