Update (long overdue)

Quite a lot has been happening since my last post.

On 18th March I attended my first BristolFurs meet in many years, It was good, I met a bunch of very nice people and had a brilliant day.

I have also been to a few LondonFur meets too, they are always good, especially when I get to see Lee there too :)

Nice pictures - you should upload them to Flickr instead of setting up your own gallery, though, since Flickr is so much cooler than everything else. ;)

Shameless plugs aside, the 6500 does look nice!

Hrmm, this could be why it was named so, pure light.... dunno though. I think they just swapped the first two figures round when they brought out the new model the one below that, which is the one I used, is the 5600.

Woo, I have the exact same rocket launcher, and had two rockets (albeit less phalic-looking).

Launched both on the common near our house, and never saw either again. Shortest hobby ever :P

I think that is what happened to Wardy's first two, never to be seen again. This one did go pretty high and the wind took it. Wardy ran to retrive the body and I chased after the nose cone we got both back safely.
Next time I want to try it with some black powder lift charge instead of those little rocket motors he gets, but I don't think he'll let me.... Cos then he'll probably will never see it again!
