My last entry went over well, so I thought I'd regale you with something similar Xiao-shu and I did back in high school. We proved that "yes" means "no". Observe:

Yes, in French, is oui;
we (oui), in French, is nous;
new (nous), in French, is neuf;
But neuf also means nine;
And as we all know, nein (nine) means no.

brilliant! that'll teach me to ever answer yes/no questions again! (especially when the computer asks... you never know what it's thinking...)
