For drivers, danger on the phone

I think my favorite part of this article is the following:

In another recent study, by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, some other distractions - such as applying makeup and reading - were found to be much more risky.Nooooo.... it's dangerous to apply makeup and/or read while driving?? It's a good ( Read more... )

Seriously, who reads in the car?! That's what books on tape are for!

I used to be able to do that, but now it gives me motion sickness like nobody's business. I miss being able to read in the car. (As a passenger!)
