My life sucks right now. But a lot of people's lives suck right now. And all I can think of is my own problems. That's really selfish of me. I don't think it is all that selfish to be looking out for yourself; to get yourself through the tough times.

Well, the particular situation about which I'm feeling sorry for myself for is one in which there are other people hurting, too, and I feel like I've been being unfair to them.
