I just learned of the death of my friend Evan. He started at Cornell the same semester I did, and he was due to graduate the same semester. We weren't especially close, but we were in the same social circles and I saw him often, and he was always a good friend. I can't imagine life at Cornell without him and I'm going to miss him terribly. Life

It's horrifyingly unfair. Evan was one of the nicest, happiest people I had ever met. It's terrible.
