[The video comes on with an abrupt jolt. One has an excellent view of the ground, (if marred, partially, by a red smudge) of a somewhat pointed pair of shoes as they skid, then seem to slide along the air.

There is: heavy, bestial breathing, and the scratching of claws and nails on the cement. Quite a lot of it. A scream- In the distance, where ( Read more... )

Ain't likely this is a random sorta thing, even if the attacks ain't well executed. Notice anythin' else?

Not at this point, no. The monsters have little to no history of leaving the Underground or forest, entering the City, and attacking.

Further anomalies: these monsters were from both locations, of different breeds, but here they stood together.

Any records on how many breeds there are in total?

I'll get checkin' on it... and you oughta get patched up 'fore that wound gets infected or somethin'.

I wouldn't go otherwise, dumbass. 'Sides, if there's anyone messin' with these monsters, they've got abilities closer to the deities than anyone's bothered flauntin' lately. Ain't no way I'm passin' that sort of information up, 'specially if the monsters've been engineered in some way...

[ Well, he's never really had to look for a mad scientist - NOR DOES HE EVER WANT TO - but he will, if it means learning to replicate this sort of trick... ]

...Whatever. Probably ain't poisoned, if other attacks're anythin' to go by, anyway.

Such initiative. I had deduced as much myself, though there's little point in both of us pursuing it. Unless it would absolutely quicken it. It rather seems as if the increasing attacks are building toward something.

Kurotsuchi-san will be more than able to identify any poison, though I expect I'd have felt it by now. Inoue-san can, of course, go even further.

If your pursuits're as long-winded as your deductions, I don't think you'd be helpin' speed up anythin'.

You have a limited definition of long-winded.
