At first I was happy about this. Now I feel a bit blah. I mean I was excited when Ashcroft resigned. But look what took his place. Now Bush is just going to replace Gonzales with another lacky and the show will go on like normal.

I was just watching the news conference, and then Bush's announcement in front of a helicopter. It was like "Atta boy, Gonzo" *barf*

Oh, please. How many failures can Bush stack up before he quits bragging about how wonderful he is? And Gonzo. That creep has caused plenty of misery in this country on his own. Illegal wiretapping. Torturing prisoners at Guantanamo. Firing perfectly capable U.S. attorneys because they won't follow political orders.

Lord have mercy, we need this administration to be over NOW.
