Here's a little survey question for those of you who go to RIC:
How has RIC screwed you over lately?
I'm curious because it seems everyone who goes to RIC has some issue, such as having classes dropped because the bill which never came in the mail wasn't paid.

I still can't get into the online stuff because my password isn't working and nobody ever returns my phone calls (because nobody's ever there when I try to get help with it).
I have no idea what my grades are from last semester because they didn't send them to me and, see above, can't frickin' get them online!
Oh, and any time I need help with anything the cow who's supposed to help me is at lunch. Do they ever do anything besides eat on that campus?!?

Your username is your first initial, your last name, underscore, and the last for us digits of your RIC ID number. So, it would be something like jsmith_1234.
Other than that, best of luck with the various offices you have to harass to get logged in.

On January 3rd I received notification that $1400 worth of financial aid had been dropped from my account, because my parents live in North Carolina. Which means that the fall semester wasn't paid off, and which also means that the bill wasn't paid on time. Classes dropped! Thank you Bursar!
There's a long story that follows, but everything is fixed and I'm able to attend spring classes [although they weren't the ones I needed! ARGH! for the second time.]

My classes were dropped because I didn't pay the bill, which I never received. When I went to talk to them, I explained how I'd never gotten a bill and mentioned that I also never got any sort of warning notice that my classes would be dropped.
The lady replied that I shouldn't have needed a warning, because the due date was right on the bill. *slaps forehead*

I was going to draft a list of people who should probably be barred from freely-expressing themselves, but then I realized the Patriot Act took care of that problem for me at one time or another.
I just want to graduate and move on with my life. I love you guys, though. Just a lot of people on the campus suck hardcore.
College is just an obstalce, monetarily and socially, before you can progress with your life.

And black can be a color. It's an absence of light, but where fabric is concerned black comes from dye just like all the other colors.
