I actually thought about writing me one of those once (amongst many other things), but then I came to the conclusion you did on their current standing in terms of reading material.

I figured out why these ones seem so lame.

I think they're about half the size of the old ones. Plus, there's all that new "protect the children" shit.

The old Goosebumps ones were the best. I'd always end up eaten by a large plant or mutated into a giant sea monster.
