First one is interesting, if obvious.

But second one: lol. College age guys think that their girlfriends hooking up with other girls is hot. This shows that men and women are wired differently. J'DUH.

re: the second: I don't think it shows that men are "wired differently"--I think it shows the institutionalized understanding of women's interest in women as essentially non-threatening to men and is instead fetishized in a particular way.

they arise from a longstanding hierarchical tradition that was instated for oppressionist aims. what keeps them locked in is assholes.
