I look forward to reading your review when the thing is released. I think I'm going to pass on watching it-- not just because of Shiteley. I just think that, in turning this particular book into a film, the very essence of the book is compromised. (Okay, it's mostly because I'd rather avoid Pouty McPouterson, but the other reason stands too...)
I read that article too... and was thoroughly confused by that statement.
Ugh... this upcoming season looks like it's going to be thoroughly annoying.
I'm not an Empire reader, but she (The Jaw) was on the front of the Sunday Times Culture section. Now every time I want to check listings I get to see her face. That moustache definitely makes an improvement...
Why isn't her career crashing and burning? (I had thought that the toilet rag her mother wrote might be the thing to sink it... but since LiLoh dropped out, people might actually watch it.)
*shrugs*
Well, since I'm on this side of the Atlantic, I don't have to see her face all too often... but I'm dreading the December premiere date of the movie mentioned above.
(And someone please explain to me how "Atonement" could possibly work as a film. It would be like taking all the guts out of the text.)
