(Even her fans say thumbs-down to Shiteley's Eliza)

Does anyone else think that even Robert Pattinson would make a better Eliza Doolittle than The Jaw would? Just kidding. (Or am I?)

What was Cameron Macintosh thinking? After losing Phantom to Emmy Rossum whose singing voice grates my last nerve, how in the world did The Jaw get through auditions for this?

Why do producers and directors of musicals never choose the best performer with the best voice for these roles?

$$$. of course. That's why Audrey Hepburn played Eliza in the original and Julie Andrews didn't.

True, but Audrey Hepburn was a better alternative than Elizabeth Taylor (whom they would have cast if Hepburn had stuck to her guns and continued to refuse the role).

You can't say that about Shiteley. True, everything goes through the triangle of Shiteley, Portman, and Johboobson, however, if they're going to cast one of those three, it should be Portman. (Because if they're going to dub it anyways, and let's face it, with Shiteley's voice, they'll have to, it should at least go to the actress with a range of more than three expressions and doesn't rely upon a pout to maker her money.)

I like portman she'd be acceptable but THE JAW NO NOOOOO seeing her face makes me want to gouge out my eyes but hearing her voice would cause my head to explode. What next will she do break fast at Tiffany's will they redo gone with the wind and put her in the lead jeeze their just not going to stop with these damn remakes.
