I've been.. annoyed.. lately (well, for a month or two..) with some of the things that people have been writing in their journals. I've hesitated to mention it because: a) I guess nothing really matters and b) I didn't want to be mean/an ass/whatever. However, for lack of better content, I'll bore you with a long-winded complaint

I totally agree with you (unless this post was about me... in which case HOW DARE YOU! j/k).

I sometimes get annoyed when I see constant grammatical errors in people's posts, but it honestly isn't a big deal. I know that the majority of the time I make my posts at like three or four in the morning. I am usually tired. I don't read over what I wrote, and I honestly don't care if I have a mistake or two. Live Journals are just for fun... they aren't freaking English essays.

yah.. i am just annoyed with people that constantly brag about how awesome their writing skills are.. and then have more grammatical errors than the people they're trashing. it's ignorant. =)

I was actually talking to no one in particular. Just everyone that does it. You're certainly not the only arrogant skank around. ;)

It seemed to directly refer to some of my recent entries. I just get pissy when people want to bitch about something, but don't really want to be confrontational abou tit. I'm also annoyed that self-esteem/confidence is often chalked up as arrogance/insecurity.

*shrugs* At least I'm myself & comfortable with that. I'd hate to be this ever-changing constantly lying concoction of crap.

Not everyone likes confrontation. However, I wasn't dodging it. There are several people that this entry applies to - perhaps even some people that aren't on my "friends" list.

If you would like for this to be a personal matter, I'm sure I could find some way to make it as such (especially since you seem to have already taken it personally), but I would rather not.. since we're best friends and all. Furthermore, if it were an attack solely directed at you, I would have emailed you to save the public display of drama.

I'm sincerely glad that you're comfortable with yourself. Not many people are. I'm certainly not.

I would hate to think that you see me as an "ever-changing constantly lying concoction of crap" without actually knowing or having any insight as to what is going on with me internally (since we haven't spoken in ages), but if you do, so be it. I can't do anything to alter the opinions of others. I'm not even sure that I would be inclined to do so if I -did- have the power to.

Talking to people is a good thing, it seems. People aren't so ignorant afterall.. and even if they are.. so what? I've discovered that it doesn't really matter. People in general suck ass.. but there are actually some pretty cool people around. And not everyone is out to get me and such. Damned paranoia. ;P
