Ruben did an interview for The District and maybe said some controversial things. He told me that he said when we first started we thought that we would only be appreciated by the "scooter/ mod scene," but actually they don't like us because they really just want to watch rock bands cover soul songs or listen to soul records-- not soul bands. This makes us extremely grateful and indebted to you! I think Ruben should have said exactly what he said. You should always be honest with yourselves and your music and besides, your band seems to be doing just fine already without the endorsment of scooter jockeys. Congrats on the interview, and on the KUCI set! That is going to be sooo much fun for you.

Maybe just something simple like a card? Or a cd of your music with your contact info and like a sticker or something... that would be cool. I can't imagine them needing an actual press kit, especially if you could easily email it to them!
And, there is no way there is anything indebted going on! You guys are awesome and they need to know about you! I am excited to have a chance to spread the love around!

Congratulations on all of your forward motion with the band. I found myself thinking about the "scooter/mod scene" while I was helping Britta shop for school clothes. I hope you aren't alienated from them, too, but that description was priceless.
