House buying

Our lease is out mid July. Real estate moves very quickly down here and July is one of the busiest months. Houses go in days. Literally. We found a subdivision we REALLY like. But it's very expansive. Of course. So now we're weighing the pros and cons of buying somewhere where we'd have to make some sacrifices (money and stuff on our want list) or

Ha!! Well he likes his job here and he should be added to the bonus plan this coming year. You're not eligible during your first year. And it's pretty awesome, like 10% the first couple years and it goes up. His boss type person/former college mate is at 40%. Jason has never gotten a bonus before unless you count his first job out of college giving him and his coworker $50 to SHARE after they worked 80hr weeks to finish something. He's getting an iPad mini for being recognized for something he has to do at work, write up these safety card things. He has a list of 8 things he could pick from and they were all 300-400 bucks. (Playstation, Nikon camera, Le Creuset, iPod touch, iPad mini, tools) You know what he got for his five year anniversary at his old job in Rochester? He got a catalog of crappy stuff you'd see in like skymall. He picked a $20 pair of walkie-talkies for the boys to play with. So this job definitely has benefits. It just sucks it's in fucking Texas.
