1) I always loved your grandma. Please listen to her.
2) I'm glad your grandpa is doing better. I told you he was a tough cookie.
3) I have to be at Concordia AGAIN all day Tuesday for the damn shoot I'm coordinating. They finally let me know that they need me for 8 1/2 hours each, Monday and Tuesday. *sigh* But, NEXT Tuesday I have to be in Wrigleyville because I have a final consult there... so, next Tuesday is a date for sure.
1) My grandma is right but one thing she never had to worry about is income. The real trick is to balance what I want to do with how much money is coming in. Either way, that motto is bouncing around in my head as I make my daily decisions.
2) I was worried about him but after this visit, I'm not so worried. I think he'll be around for a while yet.
3) I hope you are keeping track of your hours and billing Concordia for all the work you are doing setting up these shoots. If they can't even give you a schedule with the correct class times, you should be getting paid for doing the work they couldn't do right.
I am so glad you are socially adopted in to my family.
Yeah, it is much easier to do what you want if you don't need to worry where food/rent money is coming front. I'm not one to talk. I worry about steady income way more than I should... but you are amazingly talented, and I think that if you had the time to dedicate to your own projects and promotion that you could do a lot.
I am keeping track of most of it... just a few emails back and forth haven't been documented, but the majority has. I feel bad that I'm almost getting paid more this month from them than I was when I was working full-time, but part of it is their fault for not being organized.
I am glad I am adopted into your family too. I also feel like it's been ages since I've seen you. I got used to seeing you every week!
