That is the weekend of SLO. Otherwise I would totally make the trek and see you.

:( We knew it would be rough pitting our party against SLO, but it's still disappointing to see how many people are not coming because of that faire, which is so bloody far away! We're much closer, and SO much more fun. ;)

They're not bailing on the party because of the faire, but because we've already made promises that we won't break. I wish you had let us know with a bit more advance warning.

Nono, no one's bailing, I understand that. ;p Prior commitments and all that. I mean it's sad to see that so many people are already heading down south and therefore can't be here, but we figured that would happen b/c we knew it was the same weekend.

It's short notice b/c we were trying to make sure that it was a weekend we could all be here on, and we were waiting for a confirmation from the Dauntless crew that the work day was not going to be taking place on the same day. I didn't want to post anything until we had a for sure. The unfortunate thing is just that there are no other weekends before fall semester starts that we will all be here to have the party, so it was either this weekend or not at all, really. *shrug, smile* C'est la vie, we'll still miss ya.
