A job? It's when you do stuff for other people and get money for it.

[ooc: yes, he's being dense.]

No, no- the other thing. The tattoo.

Oh. They're patterns or pictures made by injecting ink into your skin.

Oh. Those.

You can do these? Where?

A real fancy place called Platinum Ink, smack dab in the middle of the Entertainment District.

Intriguing. I believe I will be looking this place up and stopping by when I have the means to pay for it. What are your rates?

Depends on how complicated it is. Somethin' small is gonna be around $25, but if you want somethin' like mine, you'll be forking out upwards of $500, maybe even a grand.

I've never seen 'yours', so I am unaware of how complex it is. Elaborate.

It's a full-body tattoo.

--but we don't have any glowing ink, so I couldn't do something exactly like mine.

Your body glows? That's odd. And very familiar, actually.

[Yeah, like 'the Avatar' familiar. There was no way though. Was there? Instantly, she's suspicious.]

..what world do you come from?

Earth.

[Yeah, he knows that's not enough information.]

We have big machines with faces on their chests that run on fighting spirit. All humans used to be forced to live underground--'til I came along, of course.

Oh.

[As soon as the word 'big machines' came into play it's clear that he isn't anything close to what she's thinking. Because of this, she doesn't care for the rest. Yeah, she's self centered like that.]

Interesting. I'll be around some time. What are your hours of operation?

Whenever I'm in the mood to work. Your best bet is anything before noon.
