But seriously, I think you can feel strongly about someone when you first meet them. I don't know about love, persay. But I do know that I felt really strong feelings for Daniel when I first met him.

I don't believe in love at first sight, it is definitely childish to put it that way. You can't love someone unless you know who they are!, and have been with them long enough to learn the little details about them. I also don't like how some people throw around the 'love of my life' junk. I think it's great that people are happy from their infatuation with their SO, but infatuation and life-long love/commitment are two completely different levels of love. It's kinda dorky of me I guess, but I look at love in a delicate way, and I believe the word shouldn't be tossed around like it isn't one of the most sensitive emotions you can feel. Lust at first sight on the other hand is definitely possible.

Love is something that has to be cultivated over time. I believe that you can love someone as a friend after a relatively short period of time, but I believe in order to truly love someone, it takes awhile. I don't think that there's a certian amount of time...but I do believe that you have know a person...and you have to accept their faults.
