Approbation

What is it that all strive for it

Does the slightest smile

Of an idol assuage

The thirst for acceptance

In a being that

Hath never felt

Even a simulation

Of recognition

The constant exhortation of society

To gain aplomb

To grow to be

The epitome of celebrities

Upon which jaded thoughts

Transcend the wanting

That once
