just saw the play 'getting out' by marsha norman yesterday at uwm. it's about a woman who's spent most of her childhood in juvie and much of her adulthood in prison. when she finally gets out she finds it difficult to undo past wrongs and set herself up for any kind of happy honest life. it was a very very good play- i went mostly b/c ann was in
