I got front row seats to the crucifixion of Jesus. woot!( I actually stole that from the person I went with, but they won't mind.) Why did I see this movie? I thought it would be cool if Gibson grew a pair and made it a passion play for the 21st century. It used to be, Passion plays were made to show people how bad Jesus suffered for *your* sins...how *bad* he had it... but, y'know what, in today's modern, violent world, people've had it worse than him since then...People have been curbed, raped and left for dead, mamed, driven over multiple times. Let's face it...we're a sick bunch of fucks nowadays, and we're a bit more creative than throwing a few tent-pegs in somebody, and stickin' 'em up on some wood for all to see.

I say, show the Romans gang-raping Jesus...now THAT would've shocked audiences. Calling Jesus a little bitch and slapping his ass...hell, that's a movie I'd pay $6 to see.
