its not the same without you
these people are effing amazing! that was probably one of the best concerts i've ever been to. they are just totally feel good music. they are always smiling at each other and their harmonies are so tight. it just made me so happy. afterwards me, miguel, lauren, and two other fans waited outside for kori and jason to come out. it took forever and the opening bands were just loading their shit in front of us. it took forever, but kori came out and signed our shit and took a picture with us. apparently jason was hiding or something. whatever, it was freakin' awesome.
unforunately, i ended up being the one to drive to san francisco. it started raining too, which is not quite the ideal situation for the first time driving there. i did perfectly fine pretty much the whole time, found a good parking spot and parallel parked fine, but then on the way back at like 2 in the morning we were on van ness and i totally didn't see this one red light coming up, and i ended up stopping like 1/3 into the intersection. the fucking light to a picture of my car. like, give me a fucking break. i cannot deal with getting a citation over this. i have way too much shit going on already. so that was kind of a downer. i just try to keep thinking "that's life" which is how i usually deal with things, but i still feel really shitty about it.
oh well. all that stuff aside, it was an amazing concert, and i'm really glad i went. from what i can remember they played ha ha, fraud in the 80s, like u crazy, proofs, think long, punchlines...i don't remember what else. awesome though. k i have to go do thanksgiving shit.
