i officially hate jane austen. this is why i don't read chick books. sure, i don't mind a little romance, but there's got to be something else involved. her charaters are all superficial and are only concerned with marriage and social connections in shit. i get that it's like, appropriate for the time, but how the hell am i supposed to learn
