so i was reading during break in ASL tonight and this guy next to me started talking to me, and it was nice. we talked about reading and i was a little out of my league seeing as how he was referencing hemmingway and kafka, but it was refreshing nonetheless. he was hella cool and interesting, and would just go on forever talking about these

What were you talking about that made him reference Hemmingway AND Kafka?

different books. he was talking about this book he was reading "the stranger" and how the author's style was like influenced by hemmingway. then he said if i want to be depressed for a week i should read kafka's the metamorphasis.

The Metamorphosis is good, but yeah, it's depressing too. Kafka was an interesting guy... he even invented the first safety helmet.
