I loved 500 Days of Summer, and not just because I would gleefully marry both Joe AND Zooey (and hee, Minka will always be Lyla to me, too <3).

Also, dude, don't feel bad about drifting fannish interests. I sort of have ADD when it comes to fandoms, and I post at random about things that large chunks of my flist aren't remotely interested in because some are in this fandom, some are in that one, and it's all very confusing. :P

Thanks for the reassurance! Silly thing to worry about, especially when sometimes I discover things I end up loving through people on my flist (I think you're the one who posted about Being Human, actually? I watched ep1 of the first series today!), but you know. :)))

Well, I for one certainly won't mind bandom posts! I would LOVE more Mikey/Alicia and Gerard/Lyn-Z. (Okay, so what I REALLY want is Lyn-Z/Alicia -- those ladies are wayyy too hot!)

Amanda Fucking Palmer is so amazing. I'm more than a little bit in love with her, not gonna lie. ♥

Lyn-Z/Alicia, oh my god yes. As much as I love the marrieds, queering up the heteronormativity will always take precedence.

AFP! Ugh, I adore her. Her post from a couple days ago about the writing process for Astronaut was so fascinating to me.

Eee! SO ADORABLE, I can't stop smiling. Okay, I hadn't even considered Lyn-Z/Amanda, but NOW I WANT IT. These ladies are so kickass and gorgeous and it's making my brain melt a little to think about them, heh.

I am constantly in awe of how much AFP gives of herself to her fans. That openness and generosity -- especially from an artist who already puts so much emotion into the songs and performances -- completely blows me away. I would love to read the stories for all the songs on the album.

Tell me, how weird would it be for me to friend you based on your really intelligent response to my story, this post, and the comment below where you say "queering up the heteronormativity will always take precedence?" There's also the fact that you've linked to a lot of awesome meta, and, I don't know. Thoughts?

Thoughts:

- Not weird!
- This will save me the trouble of trying and failing to come up with a sneaky and/or suave way of friending you first. :D You seem very smart and very sweet and therefore are a little intimidating!
- I see I am in your network on delicious as well. *adds you back* (Chronic pseudonym-change syndrome and still more chronic disorganization means that I am orounce there.)
- Just a general "yay bandom friend! yay feminist friend!"

Excellent! And oh, that means I stole the summary you wrote for my story (yes, I sometimes look at the things people write about my fic because, you know, writers are needy) and now I can change the credit from your delicious to your lj username.

Lastly, ahaha, oh man, I'm not so much with the intimidating. I believe the second or third post I ever made on LJ will tell you why. Hint: I'm a good cook but a wretched multitasker. *grins*

And yes, yay bandom, yay feminism, hi you. ♥

Hee! Summary-making is hard, this is true.

I peeked way back in your journal to see the entry you reference and am failing to stifle (good-natured!) giggles. But at least you cook well! I am a good baker, but definitely not a good cook. It's a sad state of affairs.
