Lately I have had trouble unblocking my brain. Well. Actually, I've always had trouble getting this blockage out of my brain. I don't know what my problem is where I can't seem to think up a good idea for a story and make it roll. It's a bit frustrating for me, really. None of the methods I use are working and quite honestly, I don't know what else

I completely understand your situation (if you can call it that?), and I can say I've been there too, and I was there for years.
Recently, though, my want to write has been given new life and I suddenly write a lot these days (mostly poems, though).
But for me, I had to take a complete break from writing for a couple of years. The only writing I did was papers for school and stuff I had to do. Instead of writing I let myself be braindead by reading other people's fanfiction (some very poor ones) or get into a TV-series and watch that all the time.
I don't know if it really is a solution, but that was what worked for me in the end I guess. I don't think you can force yourself to write. I can't at least. I have to find some joy in the process, or I will forget it (which is why I often give up my longer series -.-)
Anyway. I hope you can get over this horrible artist block and continue writing/do art/whatever creative things

Aa, you see, it's been this way off and on for me for about 2 years now. Sometimes I get an idea I think is good... then I just kind of over-think it and it becomes... well... xD;;
But that is what I have been doing. Reading other people's fan-fictions and watching a lot of j-drama and k-drama.

It's just really hard for me since a lot of people are going over to yaoi and strictly to yaoi when the things I want to write.. aa, it's difficult to explain. But I hate that people single it out to just one thing and only read it for... that reason. If I'm even making any sense.

I don't have any other writers who I can talk to and just... brainstorm with. I think it's become hard for me in that sense because I can think better when I have someone who can give me opinions and help me to reflect without thinking on it too much.

Ah, that sucks. I tend to do the same thing kind of. Whenever I have a huge awesome idea I think how the story will go in my head and then I suddenly reach the end in my head and it no longer interests me. xD
Oh all the abandoned ideas :')

Hmm. I used to write hetero stories when it comes to fanfiction, but now I never write het stories unless they're original stories with original characters. I guess most hetero-fanfiction is so boring and the same thing these days. :/
(well, I don't know anymore about jrock-het-fanfiction. Kind of left jrock :/ )

I don't know if I can be much of help, since I tend to kind of only bother with my own writing, but if you have any questions about some storyline of yours, I could try and give my opinion? You can just comment me or something if you want! :)
