The Taco Bell Chihuahua has died.  Yes, once more I have become the messenger of celebrity death.

Gidget, the chihuahua famous for being Taco Bell's spokesdog during the 1990s, died of a stroke at the age of 15.  Y'know, there's a sad irony in a fast food restaurant mascot dying of a stroke.

So, Morgan could only stay for a day, and he left yesterday afternoon.  I was really hoping he'd be able to stay for a couple more days, but he had a free ride to LA that was coming through town at that time, and well, I wasn't about to convince him to ignore a free ride.

Two days ago, television personality Ed McMahon passed away.  This morning, actress Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer.  And, at 3:15pm today, the self-proclaimed "King of Pop", Michael Jackson, died of cardiac arrest ( Read more... )
