I was thinking about this being a Joker movie more than a Batman movie, because that was a problem my sister had with the '80s Batman. Really, I think that would be a problem with any movie in which a well-written Joker is the primary antagonist, because he's the only Batman villain whose plots Batman can't predict. Thus Batman is forced to simply react to him for the entire movie until he's finally able to take him down. With all the Dent/Batman interaction we got, I think that this movie was better about being a Batman movie than it could have been; I never felt he was totally lost among the villains, which he easily could have been.
Yeah, the movie was awesome. I have to see it again.
Nessa and I thank you for the heads-up. I'll probably go to see the movie first, so that I can judge better how Nessa-worthy it is. I'm glad we didn't go into it blind. :)
