[ At first there's nothing but silence on Beatrice's end. She let's this linger for almost a minute before speaking. It had been a while since she had arrived. And to say the least she was never one for any kind of entrance's that one would consider normal.

She only says the following: ]Until I am measured ( Read more... )

[Oh he recognizes that voice... the answer comes to him rather quickly, but he has no desire to give it either. Why bother? He's got time to spare. Which is perhaps the entire point...]

You really are fond of riddles, aren't you?

There are few puzzles that are as entertaining as riddles, correct?

... Will you attempt to answer? It is rather rude to refuse a game when it has been given to you like this, after all.

Some might say it's ruder to just give a riddle like that suddenly out of nowhere.

What's it matter if I can solve it or not? I don't gain anything by doing so.

Kuu--Ahahahahahahah! The game pieces here would be rather blunt! You should be grateful to received a puzzle such as this! After all, one must keep themselves entertained in a seemingly dying fragment like this one. There is no poison more dreadful than boredom, is that not so?

O well done! I commend your pains;
And every one shall share i' the gains;
And now about the cauldron sing,
Live elves and fairies in a ring
Enchanting all that you put in.
By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes.

[Knight of Time, here-- he would roll his eyes if he weren't such a coolkid.]

Time.

What do I win.

[ You get some obnoxious cackling a a reward, bro ]

What is a reward if you are to gain it so effortlessly? However--

... Many would consider meeting a witch as you are at this moment a reward in itself. [ and she cackles again... ]

[He doesn't even twitch, his trained pokerface only relaying an emotion between boredom and nonchalance. He is the hipster douchebag, after all.]

Already know a witch, so its not much of a reward, huh.

Is this another one of your riddles? I'll solve it this time no problem. That voice could only belong to the endless witch, Beatrice.

... For you, another riddle, Ushiromiya Battler. After all, for the man who is worthy enough to be my opponent, the one I have already given will not do.

I cannot be other than what I am
Until the man who made me dies
Power and glory will fall to me finally
Only when he last closes his eyes

This is where...I'll flip the chessboard around.

"Cannot be other than what I am" implies that there are two people or two objects. This is clarified further in the second line. "The man who made me". Now, if you line them up, you'll get a father and son.

It's the only logical conclusion.

All right, I'll flip it around! Here's the next line "Power and glory will fall to me finally". That's also like saying there's some sort of hierarchy system going on.

What kind of hierarchy system uses a father and son? Royalty.

Hahaha, then this next part is explaining the Prince's heir to power after the King passes away. Either in war or of old age, the King will have to give his authority to the Prince eventually, right?

How's this!?
