My aunt is dying and her funeral will probably be in two weeks. One of the first things my mom asked was whether I should get my toenails painted for it.

Having to think about mundane things like pedicures is aggravating when something as major as a funeral is going to happen... but there's no escaping trivial tasks I guess. I'm sorry about your aunt... *hugness* I hope it isn't too hard for you.

I say get the toenails done. It sucks when something so unfortunate happen but if there's something I've learned in my short years it's that you can't stop living. My thoughts and best wishes are for you, your aunt, and everyone affected.
