So while packing today, I started thinking: Are we as individuals supposed to possess this much stuff? Like, when I think about all the possessions I have, both at home and at school, it astounds me that I as one single person can have so many things, and I'm only 20 years old. I dont really know the answer to this question, just something

although, i feel you're right, we don't need this much stuff. we're just pack rats.

i am in a constant state of purge. when i have too many things it makes my mind cluttered. and there is no reason that things should mess with my mental state.

None of us can be as bad as my grandma in this respect, but that's only because she grew up during the Depression, when learning to be a true packrat could mean the difference between life or death.
