Well, me thinks this an opportune time for an update. Hurricane Rita hit 125 miles South of us about 3 a.m. this day. It moved North and came over us as a cat-2 about 10:00-11:00.It is a large storm,and at this time is still blowing tropical storms winds here,up to 75 mph. I think we have dodged a bullet. We have lost (uprooted), a large chinaberry

I wasn't online much of yesterday to see this. Glad you and yours are doing okay. Thank God my friend Julie, who lives in Texas, also escaped Rita's wrath.
