I hate you, fear o'rejection.

Goddammit, sometimes I'd like to put my head through a wall.

Hi,
If the IIe mono monitor is losing the signal or has static. It migh be the connection on the Iie's motherboard. That is the center connection has gotten pushed out of postion. It makes and breaks a good connection. Or the jack (center) is loose. Of course it could be something entirely different. When you ever get to it you might want to check it out.
Something you find interesting.

Anyways I do not know if you have ever been to a Hamfest. They should have some in your state. They may be a distance from you. Also the computer shows they have there should also be good. The Hamfest start early like 7:30am and are over by noon. They peaked a few years ago in the amount of good stuff they had to sell (apple II). But you never know what you find. They are about 30-50% computer related. If you like flea markets you will like them, if you do not then you won't. For some reason they never ever advertise. Here is the URL to give dates times and more.

Biggest one around MI is the one in Dayton Ohio. 5 hour drive there, 6 to 7 hours to cover it once maybe twice, and another 5 hour drive home. Those were the days. Most only take about 1hour to cover it 2 to 3x. They use to hand out copies of Nuts&Volts. Althought you might like 2600 or Blacklist better. Most of eerything is over my head.
