[B is heading back form a recent trip to the library, a copy of Fahrenheit 451 in one hand. He spots A by chance, he hadn't even been looking in that direction but some sixth sense noted him to another's presence, to turn his head.

It's the expression that worries him the most, and his book falls to the ground as he approaches Aramis.]

A? Did you go into a wrong room again?

[Aramis takes a quick step back at the sight of B, disfigured, his eyes wide with fear.]

[He's smaller than B remembers. Slightly different hair. Larger eyes. Bandages.]

He swallows against a lump in his throat, forcibly suppressing worse-case scenarios. Maybe this was a different A, maybe just a new comer, there were always multiples, even if the As never had much in common-
