GOAL ACHIEVED THEN! i'm totally convinced he would have been terribly depressed during that whole time, from the combination of a lack of food and from all the sick and dying people across the country. he probably felt like a major failure, too, since there was nothing he could do for his people ;_;

I saw a link to this on my dash and just had to read it. Your headcanon is amazing! The conjoined twin thing? Genius. Seriously, your Ireland is a very realistic interpretation of the republic. Consider him Irish approved.
