liz, honey, you've gotta channel your negative energy into something positive. i know your life sucks right now but being angry, resentful, hateful all the time just creates more anger resent and hate.

remember, these people are just as much victims as you. and all that can help here is love. love has to be the motivating force.

and i know you love. you *are* love. you're bright and sparkly and amazing.

don't let the pollution pollute you, too.

remember one of the reasons you don't like protesting now is that people are so angry and hateful....

well actually i hate protests because they are pointless and ineffective. holding a sign on a street corner is not going to change anything, it never has and it never will. the only thing protests can be at their best, like our bloc parties, are fun and maybe educational. i can't live with myself having fun when the reason for this fun is rooted in a terrible thing (war). the reason i hate the anger and the violence at the protests is because it's counter-productive. the anger and the hatred ruins the only valid thing protests might actually have the power to do- educate. but i have lost all patience trying to educate ignorant people who don't care about anything/anyone but themselves anyway. protests are dumb and i will probably never go to one ever again. (that does NOT, however, mean i will become inactive. only inactive from pointless actions. i love fnb and other things that actually make a change

Politeness is just treating people the way you would like to be treated. i mean that if you go into a restaurant you probably like to be greeted or have your presence acknowledged in some way rather than being ignored. And if you eat are you satisfying your "gluttony," or are the only gluttons the people who go into that restaurant?

i think politeness is just a mask over honesty. i treat people the way i want to be treated, i want these people to ignore me, i don't want to have anything to do with them. except i'm generally nice to people, way too nice i think, i don't know why.

the gluttons are the people who come in and order corpse and other slaugtered tortured animal remains.
